Job summary

SeaWorld in the United States seeks Ambassadors to lead a team delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will supervise and train Ambassadors, manage arrival areas, and ensure safety and cleanliness for guests, animals, and staff.

Strong communication and leadership are essential, with CPR/AED certification and attraction certifications preferred. Applicants should be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, flexible hours, and prior leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team to deliver guest experiences at first contact.
• Supervise, train, and counsel Ambassadors in guest arrival areas such as Parking Lot, Ticketing, Turnstiles, and Check-In.
• Track labor with daily scheduling and break management; oversee opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for team members, guests, and animals.
• Develop team members through training, feedback and coaching; ensure policy compliance.
• Create and maintain team rotation grid; respond to guest and team needs.
• Report project status to Supervisors and Managers; ensure adherence to cash handling procedures.

What you get to do:

• Help lead and inspire a team to deliver great guest experiences from the get-go. You'll model and perform the highest standards of service as you foster a positive atmosphere for everyone you come into contact with.
• Get ready to help us show our best right when guests first show up! You will supervise, train, and counsel Ambassadors and perform the job duties you're supervising in Guest Arrival areas such as:
  • Parking Lot
  • Ticketing
  • Turnstiles
  • Reservation Check-In Area
• Track labor, including daily scheduling and break management
• Oversee opening and closing procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all team members, guests, and animals
• Develop team members through training, feedback and coaching
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
• Create and maintain team rotation grid
• Respond to guest and team member needs
• Report project status to Supervisors and Managers
• Ensure strict adherence to all cash handling procedure

What it takes to succeed:

• During peak season, at least 4 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day, and availability to work holidays
• During the off season, at least 3 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day, and availability to work holidays
• At least 18 years old
• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to complete CPR/AED training/certification
• Ability to be certified on all attractions
• Outstanding communication, public speaking, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations
• Computer proficiency with MS Office
• Comfortable working outdoors, around water and at heights up to 350 ft.
• Previous cash handling experience and ability to work multiple selling systems
• Ability to train on and use protective gear
• Flexibility in working varied hours
• Related Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous leadership experience highly desirable

Compensation : $17.50 per hour
