ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR
Hourly Pay Rate: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
The Stabilization and Assessment House at New Haven is a residential treatment center dedicated to highly acute adolescents. Located in Spanish Fork, Utah, our campus offers more than just treatment; it provides a warm, homely atmosphere for adolescent girls aged 12 to 18 and their families.
We specialize in addressing complex challenges such as traumatic stress, family dynamics, relationship issues, and mental health, with a strong focus on family-centered healing. Join us in making a difference where passion meets purpose!

Our Youth Mentors are required to work a minimum of 24 hours per week, including two Sundays per month. They can work up to 30 hours if desired. On-Call Youth Mentors have more flexibility, signing up for shifts that fit their schedules while still meeting the 24-hour weekly requirement. Shifts can be any day and any time (AM/PM). They are not expected to be on call 24/7.
Healthcare Team Leadership: Assist in directing and managing mentors on your shift, recognizing and rewarding exceptional work.
Delegation: Delegate responsibilities to shift members as appropriate.
On-Shift Orientation: Help provide new hires with orientation using the provided checklist.
Effective Communication: Share pertinent shift events during change meetings with supervisors or night staff.
Interdisciplinary Representation: Represent your shift at weekly interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings when needed.
Safety Preparedness: Conduct safety drills quarterly as instructed by the Supervisor to ensure a secure environment.
Hands-On Care: Perform Mentor duties at an exemplary level, leading by example.
Program Coordination: Execute the program events calendar.
Leadership Support: Collaborate with Supervisors, leading Sunday shifts and other periods when supervisors are unavailable, ensuring continuous care.
Medication Assistance: Assist in medication distribution under supervisor guidance.
Engaging Activities: Engage students in activities that foster emotional and social well-being, including outings and outdoor adventures.
Safety Champion: Prioritize student safety during activities, fostering trust and growth.
Mentor Development: Participate in training and development of Mentors under supervisor guidance.
Adaptability: Be prepared to take on additional duties as assigned.
