Hourly Rate : $23.65 / hr plus $1 / hr when working 2nd shift = $24.65 / hr
Shift : 2nd Shift (Tuesday-Friday) (3:30 pm - 2 am)
Responsible for supporting postponement and shipping functions at the NADC including safety, quality, and productivity through knowledge around Oregon Tool's systems.
Assist the supervisor in supporting team members in their daily goals, solving problems, proactively preventing issues, and building employee engagement. Work diligently to meet work schedules and deadlines.
Facilitate supervisors in accomplishing department and company goals, including entering daily picking numbers and auditing lines.
Work with supervisors to plan and complete tasks in shipping, perform auditing, consolidation, or hand picking when needed. Assist with picking orders using Reach Truck or Cherry Picker, empty trash bins, and move products.
Seek leadership when questions arise, support leadership by following directions, and provide training to team members as needed.
Coordinate with supervisors and assistant supervisors from previous/next shifts to determine priorities and ensure proper workflow. Maintain open communication through conversations and documentation.
Identify and report safety hazards, follow evacuation/emergency procedures, and adhere to safety standards including PPE and proper lifting techniques.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Entry-level warehouse experience preferred; Reach Truck and Cherry Picker experience required.
Complete responsibilities professionally and timely, solve problems analytically, communicate effectively, demonstrate teamwork, integrity, willingness to learn, and initiative to improve organizational performance.
Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.
