Job summary

DevCo US Construction is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Superintendent for a new multifamily development in Mesa, AZ (Recker Gardens). The role supports the Site Superintendent to deliver on time, within budget, and to DevCo’s quality standards on a 132-unit garden-style project.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of multifamily site supervision experience, strong subcontractor relations, and English proficiency to communicate across the field.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in a construction related field or commensurate field experience.
• 3–5 years work experience in multifamily site supervision.
• English reading and writing ability sufficient to carry out duties.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• LIHTC garden-style experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and maintenance of the Project Schedule.
• Coordinate with Site Superintendent for scheduling materials, equipment, manpower and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress and report to Site Superintendent; prepare status reports.
• Maintain safe jobsite and ensure compliance with safety manuals.
• Review project plans and identify gaps with superintendent; assist in RFIs and submittals.
• Lead on-site hourly employees and coordinate site logistics.
• Attend safety meetings and document outcomes.
• Document delivery schedules, RFIs, submittals and field directives.
