Haselden Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent I to join our Colorado team. You will foster relationships with subcontractors, manage construction flow, read drawings and specs, and ensure timely procurement to align with the Master Schedule. Strong communication and a 3–5 year track record are required.

You will support safety, QA/QC, and project set-up, and may lead when the superintendent is not on site. Competitive salary and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Construction Management degree required.
• Procore, Revit, Navisworks and Bluebeam experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with groups of managers, clients, and the public.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle concrete variables in non-standard situations.
• Strong work ethic and positive can-do attitude.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram or schedule instructions.
• 3-5 years of on-the-job experience.
• Good time management.

Responsabilités

• Fosters positive long-term relationships with subcontractors and business partners.
• Demonstrates general knowledge of building systems.
• Manages and communicates sequence and flow of construction activities.
• Interprets drawings, specifications, subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and exhibits.
• Procures tools and materials to meet the Master Schedule with Superintendent support.
• Communicates project status and changes with project managers, superintendents, and field teams.
• Supports career development through Haselden’s ladders.
• Maintains regular team communication and assists superintendents.
• Collaborates on job setup, communications, record-keeping, and closeout.
• Oversees QA/QC with Project Engineers and conducts inspections.
• Supports Haselden’s Safety culture and policies.
• Develops and maintains a four to six-week schedule.
• Conducts daily Personal Risk Assessments for safety procedures.
• Leads safety meetings and stormwater inspections.
• Promotes Haselden’s safety rules and industry regulations.
• Investigates incidents on job sites.
• When Superintendent is absent, acts as lead project representative.
• Manages self-perform crews and work schedules.
• Leads or assists with additional project duties.
