Job summary

Weis Builders is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support on-site and office activities, assisting the Project Superintendent and Project Manager. You will help with scheduling, documentation, and coordination to ensure project success.

You will build client and vendor relationships, monitor safety, and assist with cost control while gaining exposure to design/build and construction management processes. This role requires travel as needed and a strong client-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related construction field.
• Experience with construction management software such as Excel, CMiC, Procore, or other similar project management tools.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build rapport with others.
• A positive attitude and a client-focused mindset, with a keen awareness of client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project duties such as material take-offs, permits, labor reports, and 2-week look-ahead schedules.
• Build strong relationships with clients, architects, and vendors to support project continuity and growth.
• Lead safety meetings, maintain safety logs, and address safety concerns to ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with the project team to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment as needed.
• Apply Quality Control best practices to meet or exceed quality standards.
• Complete all required paperwork professionally and promptly.
• Support cost control by tracking labor hours and purchase order logs.
• Gain knowledge of building codes and ensure compliance across activities.
