Job summary

D.R. Horton, America’s Builder, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for Northampton County (Easton area) to oversee the home construction process on-site.

You will assist the Superintendent in managing subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while delivering excellent customer service to homeowners. The role requires inspecting daily, coordinating inspections, and maintaining strong communication with homeowners and the construction team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to read plans and other construction documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Inspect each home daily for quality and schedule alignment.
• Schedule and walk inspections with inspectors.
• Ensure homes are complete and meet quality standards before homeowner walkthroughs.
• Assist in managing subcontractors and enforce safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of communities and jobsites.
• Support construction schedule and ensure on-time delivery within budget.
