Job summary

Thalle Construction Co., Inc. seeks an Assistant Superintendent to support the Project Superintendent on landfill and other heavy civil projects in Palm Beach County, FL. You’ll coordinate labor, equipment, and methods, oversee safety, and liaise with project staff to meet production goals.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in civil construction, strong leadership, and ability to read technical drawings. Competitive compensation based on experience; rotating nightshift schedule available.

Qualifications

• At least 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in civil construction.
• Ability to read technical and architectural drawings and specifications.
• Experience leading construction operations and coordinating labor/resources.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise subcontractors as delegated by the Superintendent.
• Monitor pace and quality of work on landfill and heavy civil projects.
• Coordinate with Equipment, Means & Methods for timely arrivals.
• Ensure safety compliance and perform QC inspections.
• Supervise labor staffing needs and coordinate with project managers.
