GbOSS is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent and Project Manager in completing projects. You will oversee site safety, quality, scheduling, and communications with architects on constructability issues.

Occasional travel is required; reports to the Project Superintendent. The role requires interpreting critical path schedules, reading drawings, and enforcing GbOSS safety standards.

Formación

• Must interpret critical path schedules and construction drawings/specs.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Understanding Safety regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Superintendent with managing job site safety, quality, and schedule from pre-construction to closeout.
• Champion GbOSS safety culture to project team and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, project team, and field.
• Represent GbOSS professionally and preside at pre-construction meetings with subcontractors.
• Open and secure the job site at start/end of day.
• Assist in hiring sub-tier employees.
• Maintain relationships with client, Construction Manager, project team, consultants/architects/engineers, subcontractors, unions, and agencies.
• Coordinate subcontractors and with building inspections/agency inspections.
• Daily job site walks and safety audit reports.
