We Search People in Greenville, SC is seeking a Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent to join a local project team. The role offers clear progression toward a Superintendent position and requires hands-on leadership on commercial builds with minimal travel.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years as an assistant superintendent, a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and strong skills in reading blueprints, coordinating trades, and maintaining safety and compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, OR the equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations. Proficiency in reading blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
• Proven ability to work alongside construction teams, including subcontractors, foremen, and laborers, and to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Interior Build Out/TI, ground up, renovation and remodeling experience.

Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent

Our client is an award winning general contractor, specializing in commercial projects such as education, multifamily, healthcare, senior living etc.

They are on the lookout for an experienced commercial Assistant Superintendent who will be part of an exciting team that has clear progression to move into a Superintendent position in the near future. The role is on a permanent basis, and the right candidate is a real leader in the field with commercial construction experience.

Projects are kept local with minimal travel.
