Job summary

Green Key Resources seeks an experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee field operations for ground-up and renovation of commercial projects in Columbus, OH. You will manage schedules, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include site inspections, progress tracking, and close collaboration with owners, design teams, and internal project groups to meet milestones and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience, including Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent roles.
• 5+ years of commercial project experience preferred.
• Strong reading of drawings, specs, schedules, and building codes.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and keep projects on schedule.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar CM software.

Responsibilities

• Review schedules, budgets, drawings, and specs with the Project Manager
• Conduct site inspections to monitor workmanship, quality, and progress

• Coordinate inspections with authorities and ensure codes compliance

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day field operations of ground-up and renovation of commercial projects. This individual will be responsible for maintaining project schedules, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring quality and safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel
• Develop and maintain short-term schedules to ensure project milestones are met
• Partner with the Project Manager to review project schedules, budgets, drawings, and specifications
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, quality, and progress
• Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe, organized jobsite
• Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate project expectations clearly
• Identify and resolve field conflicts, scheduling issues, and construction challenges
• Coordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure compliance with applicable building codes
• Manage punch-list activities, project closeout, and turnover
• Maintain accurate daily reports, progress documentation, and site records
• Build strong working relationships with owners, subcontractors, design teams, and internal project teams

Qualifications
