Job summary

Premium West Construction seeks an Assistant Superintendent to support daily field execution on a major Anaheim, California project. You will work with the Project Superintendent to coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, monitor short-term schedules, and verify quality in accordance with contract documents and Premium West standards.

The role requires active field leadership, communication, and a proactive approach to planning, with onsite work full-time and potential weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of commercial construction field experience preferred.
• Experience with tenant improvement, renovation, multifamily, hospitality, or ground-up commercial construction.
• Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, schedules, inspections, and trade sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Support the Superintendent in directing daily jobsite activities and coordinating subcontractor operations.
• Coordinate field activities to maintain safety, quality, and schedule.
• Confirm manpower, locations, activities, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Ensure field questions and issues are escalated and resolved promptly.
• Maintain field documentation, look-ahead plans, and weekly work plans.
