Job summary

Westport Construction in California seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on complex multifamily, commercial, and infrastructure projects. This role focuses on delivering safe, on-time, on-budget results while mentoring site teams.

You will coordinate with project managers, supervise subcontractors, ensure QA/QC, and drive look-ahead schedules and field reporting. A decade of supervision, OSHA 30, CPR/First-Aid, and a CA driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction supervision experience.
• Multifamily construction experience preferred.
• HS Diploma required; OSHA 30-hour and CPR/First-Aid certifications.
• CA Driver’s License required.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PM Web or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations on complex projects, coordinating multiple teams.
• Lead schedule development, sequencing, and project execution.
• Mentor Superintendents and field staff to promote safety and excellence.
• Drive QA/QC, inspections, and project close-out.
• Maintain relationships with ownership, consultants, and partners.
