Job summary

PACE Systems is seeking an Assistant Superintendent – Advanced Facilities / Controlled Environments to support the project team on technically complex construction nationwide.

The role is Auburn Hills, Michigan-based with 100% project-based travel across the United States, involving coordination of field operations, safety, quality control, and scheduling for advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, and life-sciences facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-7 years of construction experience.
• Experience as Assistant Superintendent, Foreman, Lead Carpenter, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or equivalent leadership role is preferred.
• Knowledge of coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with daily oversight of construction activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and self-perform crews.
• Monitor field productivity and workforce requirements.
• Assist with project logistics, site access, material deliveries, and work sequencing.
• Participate in daily planning meetings and foreman coordination meetings.
• Support schedule execution and milestone tracking.
