Job summary

Ulta Beauty is hiring an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, assess hair care needs, and recommend products and services. This temporary role prepares talent for a stylist position with 3 months of mentorship from an Elite or Master Stylist, focusing on guest service, performance, and compliance.

After month three, you will begin servicing guests of your own, perform hair services, demonstrate products, and support in-store events to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Basic understanding of latest salon techniques in haircutting, coloring, styling, and makeup.
• Willingness to learn additional technical skills and product knowledge.
• Ability to work with guests and maintain professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests and consult on hair care needs.
• Recommend services and retail products to enhance guest experience.
• Support the mentoring period and become proficient in salon procedures.
