Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist for a temporary role. You will engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products while mentoring under an Elite or Master Stylist for the first 3 months. In months 4–6, you begin servicing guests of your own, building skills toward stylist level.

The position requires a Cosmetology license and a strong guest-service orientation, with emphasis on learning, compliance, and teamwork within the salon and store environment.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license is required.
• Ability to learn under mentorship and perform elevated services after 3 months.
• Excellent guest service mindset and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and help meet store goals.
• Support mentor stylist in hair services and product recommendations.
• After three months, perform hair design, color, makeup and related services.
• Maintain sanitation and follow safety guidelines.
• Assist with in-store events and promotions.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
