Job summary

Ulta Beauty is hiring an Assistant Stylist to greet guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend services. This temporary role trains toward a stylist position with mentorship from an Elite or Master Stylist for the first 3 months.

After three months, the role expands to performing hair services and color applications, with ongoing demonstrations to drive sales, and participation in store events and promotions.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Strong guest-service and communication abilities.
• Ability to build lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and recommendation of products and services.
• Assist and learn from a mentor stylist during the first months.
• After training, perform hair design, cutting, coloring, and styling.
