Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. The role is temporary, preparing talent for a stylist position with mentorship by Elite or Master Stylists for the first 3 months.

After month three, you will begin servicing guests with hair design, color, and styling, while supporting store promotions and staying current with trends and products.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license is required.
• Experience with hair services and product knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to learn additional technical skills and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and help meet store goals.
• Assist mentor stylist with hair services and product recommendations.
• Perform hair services after month three, including design and color as applicable.
