Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend services. The role is temporary, mentored by Elite/Master Stylists for the first months, then begins serving guests of their own while focusing on guest experience and productivity.

You will learn advanced techniques in cutting, coloring, styling, and makeup, while supporting store events and promotions, with a commitment to growth and attendance.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Basic understanding of latest salon techniques in haircutting, haircolor, styling, and makeup.
• Ability to develop skills in service categories and to learn product knowledge.
• Strong communication and guest-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and help meet store goals for retail and services.
• Support Stylist in achieving sales and productivity targets for hair services and products.
• Perform hair services after month three, including cuts, color, styling, and makeup applications where applicable.
• Conduct product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest experience.
• Assist with in-store events and promotions to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
