Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. This temporary role trains under Elite or Master Stylists for the first 3 months, then begins servicing guests of their own.

A passion for beauty, exceptional guest service, and willingness to learn additional skills are essential. Responsibilities include supporting sales and services, maintaining safety and sanitation, and delivering an unrivaled guest experience

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Basic understanding of latest salon techniques across haircare and makeup.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in all service categories.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and drive store performance in retail and service sales.
• Support mentor Stylist in achieving sales and productivity goals through add-ons, shampooing, blowouts, and color applications.
• After month three, perform hair services including cuts, color, styling, extensions, makeup, brow services, and ear piercing where applicable.
