Job summary

Studs, a category-defining ear piercing brand, is hiring an Assistant Studio Manager in Scottsdale. You will support daily studio operations, coach team members, and step in for the Studio Manager to maintain leadership, execution, and culture.

You'll drive revenue, ensure exceptional customer experiences, uphold safety standards, and help shape a high-performing, inclusive team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail management, customer-facing team leadership experience.
• Must be available to work five days per week (38-40 hours) including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Weekend availability Friday–Sunday is required, excluding PTO.
• Full-time role prioritized for Studs employment.
• Must attend all scheduled shifts and maintain availability.
• Able to stand 8+ hours and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Comfortable handling chemicals and following safety protocols.
• Proactive mindset, ownership, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Leads day-to-day Studio operations in the Studio Manager’s absence.
• Manages inventory, supply ordering, and task completion with attention to detail.
• Tracks daily performance and supports sales strategies to drive revenue.
• Partners with the Studio Manager to identify trends in key metrics.
• Upholds safety protocols and piercing regulations, escalating issues as needed.
• Maintains presence on the floor to guide the team and ensure exceptional customer experiences.
• Resolves customer concerns and models service recovery.
• Provides real-time coaching and feedback to support performance.
• Contributes to team development with the Studio Manager.
• Fosters Studs values, inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
