Palm Beach Tan is seeking a store supervisor in Timonium, MD to lead daily operations and develop staff, including scheduling, training, and customer service to ensure a welcoming, efficient store experience.

Starting pay is $16 per hour with base pay plus potential commissions and bonus opportunities; the role includes a 5-week manager-training course and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to effectively motivate others.
• Able to stand, bend, walk for long periods.
• Able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• This position has a required 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics.
• Maintain store staff by interviewing, hiring, and developing employees
• Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers
• Meet self-performance metrics and help develop employees to meet their metrics
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked and organized
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
