FirstCash, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead our Houston team. You will partner with the Store Manager to support daily operations, coach employees, and deliver outstanding customer service while driving store profitability.

You will gain hands-on leadership experience across a diverse range of merchandise. Responsibilities include recruiting, managing inventories, and ensuring smooth cash handling.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided).

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to meet company standards.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
• Help drive store sales, profitability, and performance goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives.
• Open and close the store, including cash handling and operational procedures.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Analyze performance metrics and support the achievement of business objectives.
• Build product knowledge across merchandise categories.
