Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Holyoke, MA to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help with daily store activities, assist customers, and ensure merchandise is organized from delivery to sales floor while maintaining seasonal displays.

The role involves opening/closing duties, following corporate directives, and supervising and training store associates to uphold company standards and a safe, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, and movement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
