Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Tampa location.

You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure stock and seasonal displays are maintained. This role requires strong communication, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to loss prevention and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
