Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, drive sales, and control expenses. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will develop store personnel, uphold ALDI values, and ensure high customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes team leadership, operational excellence, and a customer-first approach. The position is full-time with an average of 38 hours per week and a starting wage of $25.50 per hour, with a wage increase to $26.50 in Year 2.

• Lead and develop store personnel; communicate responsibilities and expectations.
• Assist the store manager with action plans to improve results and development.
• Lead store tours during hiring events and provide recommendations.
• Inform the store manager of team developments and concerns.
• Interact effectively with ALDI employees, customers, vendors and partners.
• Develop and supervise the team to achieve sales and KPI targets.
• Model ALDI values and promote a positive working environment.
• Train and develop personnel using company materials.
• Ensure compliance with customer service principles and procedures.
