Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Tulsa is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will oversee day-to-day activities, train associates, and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment while upholding company policies.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will lead by example, manage scheduling, and support the Store Manager to drive sales and improve store performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent physical tasks
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner
• Organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Maintain store areas to company standards
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Ensure a positive, safe environment for customers and staff
