Job summary

Dollar Tree in Fayetteville, NC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, supervise associates, manage merchandise flow, and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and employees.

Strong communication and leadership are essential. The role requires a high-energy, hands-on leader who can train staff, handle opening/closing procedures, and uphold company policies while driving

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and ability to read and interpret directives.
• Experience managing retail or grocery store operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise flow from delivery to floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering, handling damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized, protect assets including cash.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed and safety guidelines are observed.
• Assist Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
