Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run store operations, elevate customer service, and develop team members.

You will assist with day-to-day functions, organize merchandise, supervise associates, and ensure safety and policy compliance. This part-time role offers opportunities to contribute to store performance and growth while delivering a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in store management or supervising retail staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities required.
• Ability to train and develop store associates and lead teams.
• Must be able to perform physical duties (lift up to 55 lbs) and be on-foot in retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Support customers with questions and concerns in a positive manner.
• Organize merchandise and relocate stock from delivery to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and keep records (scheduling, payroll, deposits).
• Maintain store displays and promotional fixtures for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering, handling damaged goods, and loss prevention tasks.
• Ensure store areas are neat, stocked, and secure assets including cash.
• Uphold safety policies and train/ supervise store associates.
