Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and help keep the store clean and well-stocked.

Responsibilities include assisting with payroll/scheduling, processing directives, and supporting the Store Manager in training Store Associates while maintaining a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Retail store management experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns
• Help organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process directives and communications related to store activities
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling
• Keep areas well-stocked and organized to company standards
• Protect store assets, including cash, and ensure policy compliance
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment
