Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development.

This part-time position involves assisting with day-to-day store activities, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for customers and associates. You will help the Store Manager supervise and train staff, ensure high service standards, and adhere to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, and payroll/scheduling records.
• Keep store areas stocked, clean, and presentable, including stockroom and bathrooms.
