Job summary

Self Storage Plus is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run day-to-day operations at our Bealeton facilities. The role involves leasing, customer relations, rent collection, and financial reporting to ensure smooth operation and strong occupancy.

You will conduct property walks, maintain safety and cleanliness, and respond to inquiries and emergencies with professionalism while upholding company standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of property operations, including leasing, customer relations, rent collection, and financial reporting.
• Maintaining the property through regular maintenance checks, daily property walks to ensure safety and security; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Upholding cleanliness standards throughout the property, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and waste disposal.
• Responding to customer inquiries, conducting tours, and explaining terms of occupancy/leasing agreements.
• Respond to customer complaints and emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Follow company policies to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure a positive tenant experience.

Hours: Part-Time, estimated 10-20 hours per week

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the management of property operations, including leasing, customer relations, rent collection, and financial reporting
• Maintaining the property through regular maintenance checks, conducting daily property walks to ensure that safety and security requirements are met, making minor repairs as needed
• Upholding cleanliness standards throughout the property, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, emptying trash, cleaning out storage units, and other cleaning responsibilities as needed
• Responding to customer inquiries, understanding and presenting amenities through tours of property and explaining terms of occupancy/leasing agreements
• Respond to customer complaints and emergencies promptly and professionally
• Follow company policies and procedures to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure a positive tenant experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend and lift to move items at least 25 or more pounds
• Ability to operate tools and equipment, such as bolt cutters, grinders and drills
• Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time while performing indoor and outdoor job responsibilities
