Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager at our Vienna, WV location to lead daily operations, drive sales, and ensure outstanding customer service.

You will supervise store staff, coordinate scheduling, train teammates, and uphold brand standards while delivering a fun, inclusive shopping experience for fans of licensed sports apparel. The role requires a hands-on leader who can adapt to a fast-paced retail environment and motivate a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead store associates through training programs, goal setting, and regular follow-up.
• Engage team to create a respectful and inclusive environment and adhere to brand standards.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper operations.
• Ensure visual merchandising, store cleanliness, and policy adherence.
• Manage cash handling, inventory, and stock replenishment.
