Job summary

Lids Sports Group, a leading licensed sports retailer with over 1,300 stores, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Overland Park, KS. You will drive sales, manage daily store operations, and guide a team to deliver exceptional customer service and an engaging shopping experience.

As a key leader, you will train staff, ensure adherence to brand standards, and support inventory, visual merchandising, and promotions.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage store operations with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as manager on duty for scheduling, customer issues and coverage.
• Lead and train store staff using trainee programs and goal setting.
• Enforce company policies, dress code, and loss prevention standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including peak periods and shift coverage.
• Maintain cash handling processes and daily tills with accuracy.
• Prepare store for audits and inventory counts, support annual inventories.
