Mattress Firm, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to elevate the customer in-store experience by acting as a trusted sleep authority and leading the team to deliver outstanding service and product knowledge.

You will coach associates on selling practices, drive merchandising execution, support omnichannel initiatives, and assist the Senior Store Manager in training and developing staff toward store leadership. Lifting 50+ lbs required.

• Assistant Store Manager role, transitional to store manager.
• Supports development of team members and coaching.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Elevate in-store experience as a trusted sleep authority with best-in-class products.
• Execute selling programs and support omnichannel experiences.
• Coach associates on selling practices and merchandising execution.
• Assist Senior Store Manager with training of store associates.
• Promote coaching culture and provide insights to improve customer experience.
• Achieve or exceed store financial targets through effective execution and customer service.
• Ensure documentation of inventory during product transfers.
• Able to lift, pull, and push 50+ pounds.
