Caleres in Tempe is seeking a full-time Assistant Store Manager who will act as the store leader in the absence of the Store Manager, develop a team, and drive great customer experiences.

You will coach, hire, train, and engage associates, manage daily operations, scheduling, inventory, and sales goals, and uphold Caleres' standards and policies. This role suits a motivated retail professional who loves shoes and can work holidays, nights, and weekends to deliver the Famous Feeling.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience preferred.
• Experience in interviewing, hiring and training staff.
• Ability to lead, motivate and communicate with store associates.
• Experience coaching and developing associates for sales and operations.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement with Store Sales Manager.
• Strong problem solving, decision making and basic分析 of metrics.
• Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Flexibility to work holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.
