Famous Footwear in Enfield, CT is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager. You will motivate staff, coach selling behaviors, and ensure an engaging, family-friendly store experience.

Qualifications

• Has a High School Diploma/GED.
• Has at least 1 year of sales experience (retail sales preferred).
• Demonstrates experience in interviewing, hiring, and training people.
• Exhibits an ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate positively with store Associates at all levels.
• Displays ability to train, coach and develop Associates to provide an engaging customer experience and execute operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspire associates with integrity and drive to foster a culture of caring and camaraderie focused on customer relationships and sales.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to interview and hire individuals passionate about delivering top-notch customer experiences.
• Manage daily operations including pricing, shipping processing and inventory to keep stores easily shoppable.
• Drive sales and apply insights to improve location performance and customer satisfaction.
• Support a diverse, inclusive team culture and lead by example through training and development.
• When Store Manager is away, step into their role to maintain standards and develop internal talent.
