Dollar Tree in Winter Park, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day functions and help maintain clean, organized sales floors.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. You will supervise and train store associates, protect assets, and ensure a positive, safe shopping experience for customers.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent movement.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll/scheduling, and cash handling; loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
