Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development in Scott Township, Pennsylvania. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Able to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store displays and promotional signage.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and handling returns, payroll records, scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect store assets including cash and other property.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Assist Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, professional customer environment.
• Keep store clean, bathrooms stocked, floors swept and mopped, trash removed.
