Job summary

Dollar Tree in North Palm Beach, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with daily store operations, customer service, and team development. In this role you will support the Store Manager and lead associates to maintain efficient, friendly service and a clean, well-organized store.

You will assist with opening/closing, merchandise flow from delivery to floor, and adherence to company policies. The ideal candidate has store management experience in retail and strong communication,

Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store tasks.
Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
Perform opening and closing procedures.
Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
