Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with daily store functions, organizing merchandise, and helping with scheduling and payroll tasks.

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a part-time, on-site position at our Little Rock location.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize, stock, and transfer merchandise from delivery to floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling duties.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets and cash.
• Assist Store Manager with training and development of staff.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
