Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help manage daily activities, assist customers, and ensure shelves and displays are organized and ready for shoppers.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, strong communication, and a team-oriented attitude. This is a part-time position in Magnolia, AR with responsibilities for maintaining safety and compliance while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision‑making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Manage merchandise transfers from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and store policies.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Protect store cash and assist in loss prevention.
• Respond to corporate directives and communications.
• Ensure promotional fixtures are maintained.
• Other duties as assigned.
