Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Farmington Hills, MI to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities and help ensure a positive customer experience across the floor and backroom.

The role requires strong communication and team skills, with the ability to supervise associates, manage safety procedures, and uphold company policies. This is a part-time position with opportunities to grow in store leadership.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives including payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits and receipts.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and ensure store areas are neat and presentable.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; maintain safe, respectful environment.
• Ensure store cleanliness and safe operations throughout the shift.
