Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Titusville, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for part-time duties to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role involves supervising associates, maintaining displays, handling merchandise, and ensuring clean, safe, and compliant store conditions.

You will assist with opening/closing, process corporate directives, and uphold our policies while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Retail store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for optimal impact.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling), and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Ensure store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness.
