Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Pine Bluff, AR to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, welcome customers, and mentor store associates to maintain high performance.

This role emphasizes safe, respectful interactions, efficient merchandising, and adherence to company policies while supporting opening/closing procedures and shift leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Team leadership and organizational abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and functions.
• Help customers with questions in a positive, friendly manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
