Job summary

Dollar Tree in Oak Lawn, IL seeks an Assistant Store Manager for store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day functions, open/close procedures, and supervise store associates to ensure a safe, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in store management preferred
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom to floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Maintain fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness
• Assist in ordering merchandise, payroll/scheduling records, and loss prevention
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas and secure assets
• Enforce policies and safety guidelines
• Help supervise and develop store associates
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms and floors
• Other duties as assigned
