Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Morton, IL to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor, maintain promotional displays, and help supervise store associates.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and customer service skills in a high-energy team setting. The position is part-time, with responsibilities including opening/closing tasks, payroll and scheduling

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
Aid in organizing merchandise from delivery to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
Process corporate directives and store communications.
Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, cash handling and loss prevention.
Keep stockroom and sales floor well-stocked and orderly.
Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
Ensure safety policies are followed by all associates.
Help Store Manager supervise, train and develop Store Associates.
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
