Food Lion in Walterboro, SC is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, manage staff, and drive store performance. You will oversee hiring, training, and development while ensuring customer service excellence and adherence to safety and company standards.

In this role, you will use financial reports and inventory systems to achieve budgeted results, supervise a diverse team, and serve as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager is absent. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Department Manager or equivalent experience required.
• Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to lead and manage associates across multiple departments.
• Must meet physical requirements and minimum age.
• Certified Food Safety Manager or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Hire, train, and develop associates.
• Manage performance through coaching, appraisal and disciplinary actions.
• Provide leadership and motivation within the store to reflect guiding principles and strategy.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with emphasis on fast, friendly service.
• Ensure proper control of all store funds and assets.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions; ensure security, safety and food safety standards.
• Utilize company tools such as financial reports, ACIS, scheduling, CAO, and business information systems.
• Support achievement of store budgeted financial and operating results.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager is absent and assist day-to-day operations.
• Model excellent customer service and instill this value in all associates.
• Adhere to company guidelines, policies and standard practices.
• Develop staffing across departments to meet business needs.
