Job summary

The Assistant Manager at Hibbett I City Gear Greenville is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, merchandising, scheduling, and achieving store goals while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will be knowledgeable across departments, supervise in the Store Manager's absence, train staff, monitor inventory, and help drive sales of footwear and athletic apparel in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail environment, footwear/athletic apparel preferred.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with initiative and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Stand in for Store Manager in their absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across all departments.
• Maintain inventory, analyze sales and expenses for profitability.
• Deliver exceptional customer service per the manuals.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise.
