Dollar Tree in Davison, MI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, merchandise flow, and supervising store associates to maintain a safe, friendly shopping environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, compliance with directives, payroll and scheduling records, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy and other communications.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, records (payroll, scheduling, deposits) and loss prevention.
• Maintain areas of the store, including a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including restrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
